I'm still going through boxes, sorting out what's going and what's staying for our move....and came across the above photo of my Mum and I, taken in approx 1970 at the Queensland/Northern Territory border. Gotta love how there was graffiti back then hey? I do hope that by now they've upgraded the signs, and the road! Look at all that lovely red dust...hee hee hee.

P.S. Isn't getting ready to move the pits? Hope I don't have to do it again for a long while!
What a great photo Naomi. I'm glad you have it.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY red dust? You poor buggers live on a huge red rock! Cute photo though.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are having some enjoyable moments in the sorting, but were you ever REALLY that small?
ReplyDeleteHmm think I will stay in NZ - eeek
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pic to have Naomi, can see that is you even though you are so young, lol.

What a cutie you are! Good pic of our "Outback". I lived in Elizabeth, Adelaide in 1970 and I can remember the parks being as dry as your pic. Must have been a small drought happening.
